MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR

On sunday , I heard some turbulance in the balcony of adjecent flat  . Kartik ,owner of this flat is a forced bachelore . His wife , Sunaina stays in Banglore . I came out ant found Sunaina dusting the balcony windows. It was a pleasant surprise . She told me that she is enjoying herself immensely at her new job as advertising manager and she is satisfied with the amount of money she is making . But ,when I asked her about her family life ,there was an embarrassing silence.She told "I guess there is the one weak spot . In pursuing my carrier I seem to have lost touch with my husband .I am turning 36 next week .There is a huge pressure from my mother in law to plan family .Plus , I have got PCOD due to wrong eating habbits and long working hours .I , actually collapsed on the job one day and landed in a hospital"
 . We discussed this situation for a while .I felt pity for this young ,professional girl who neglected her family and endangered her health by overwork . She likes her job , making good money , and get a lot ego food out of it . She loved and married the right person , but lost that love in a preoccupied pursuit of other desires . This girl who is all wrapped up in her job needs a "change of pace "and think what she can do to achieve a well - balanced family life .

 I suggested her that sooner or later ,her life will be seriously out of balance ,unless she give sufficient time and attention to cultivate the continuing love of her husband and plan a child . I told her that she should use this lockdown time to rethink about her future . Or may be she should put her  desires in writing and find solutions to it .
