Gwalior - Among top polluted cities of country According to the latest reports of NGT ( national Green Tribunal ) , Gwalior is among the top polluted cities of  India . District forest Officer , Mr Abhinav Pallav shared that  awareness regarding the significance of trees is growing among the people . Their team have also planted 19,000 plants already and have set the target of three lakh plants till next year (2020 ) .  But , sheer  plantation of saplings will not help , in order to curb pollution in city . It is our duty as citizens to take care of these planted saplings like our own kids . These saplings will not grow into respective plants without proper watering / irrigation . Proper fencing is also required so that the trees are not being destroyed by stray animals .
